New Link
Been awhile since I have posted anything. I have been busy since I have moved and started a new teaching job.
Here is a new link of interest
http://www.historyofparliamentonline.org/volume/1790-1820/member/gally-knight-henry-1786-1846
Thanks to the University of Washington for providing information that I have tried to get for sometime on the family.
I will share that sometime, if I can legally do so.
I have not heard from the Friends of Firbeck about rejoining. Also, the future of the Hall still seems very uncertain. I have not heard of it is yet being restored but remain hopeful that that is the case.
If you have any valid information, please let me know.

I am so thrilled to find your site, I have been trying to find the imposable for what seems forever now. My husbands family has a drawing of a Manor House, complete with Deere and trees in a park-like setting in front of it, that his Great-Grandmother, Mary Anne Jones Smith, brought with her from England.
Knowing nothing about the house I have been in such of. I have found it in Firbeck Hall.
The Drawing is signed by I believe E.A. Minton and dated 1851. My copy of the back is light but from what I can see this is correct.
I am very excited to find your site and had to comment right away as well as say thank you. I will be reading you complete blog as soon as possible.
